Head to Tamarindo Beach, one of Costa Rica’s top surfing destinations, for a fun-filled lesson suitable for all ages and skill levels. With year-round warm waters and consistent waves, Tamarindo, a 1-hour and 30-minute drive to the south, is the perfect place to learn to surf or refine your skills. Expert instructors will guide you through the fundamentals before you hit the waves to put your newfound techniques to the test.

After the lesson, enjoy a delicious lunch before taking some time to explore Tamarindo’s vibrant beach town, known for its lively atmosphere, great shopping, and stunning coastline.

This tour has a minimum of 8 people.

Tour includes: A/C transportation, a surf lesson with an instructor, and lunch.

What to bring: Comfortable clothing, sporty attire, sunblock, camera, sunglasses with a strap, and swimsuit.

Restrictions: This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

Terms: Cancellations made before Friday, October 17, 2025, will receive a refund minus an administrative fee. After this date, tours are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, we will attempt to resell your spot but cannot guarantee availability.

Gratuities: Gratuities are not included for Optional Tours. Tips for tour guides are at your discretion. A tip between $5 - $20 per person for the guide is considered polite.
